After the installation of all new factory finished windows the house was re-clad in Cembonit, an "integral color" cement board siding material chosen for it's sleek look and no maintenance or finishing requirements.
Steel posts to the right and left of the eating bar support a steel beam hidden in the ceiling. These structural members were added during the remodel to stiffen the home and allow for the removal of a wall blocking the view of the water.
A limited palette results in a serene master bath.
The original architect's rigorous layout of the north wall of the home was maintained in the wholly rebuilt structure.
